There have been so many revisionist versions of Carpenters songs, and unfortunately a number of singles weren't top 40 pop hits (although they were top 40 AC); nonetheless, they are not in the database, so can anyone list off which CDs I can find the original, non-remixed single versions of these Carpenters singles:
Beechwood 4-5789
Bless the Beasts and the Children
Those Good Old Dreams
Make Believe It's Your First Time
Back in My Life Again

Gordon, I was always under the impression that when Richard remixed the hits, it was for compilations and the versions on the original album CDs were the non-remixed versions. Maybe I'm wrong on this, but that has been my impression.

I know "Bless the Beasts and Children" is on the 1999
remaster of "A Song For You."
