Update: The mono DJ 45 is also missing the high hat as the Admiral Halsey section kicks in. While I don't have the radio only mono DJ LP, my understanding is that the mono LP matches the DJ 45. So there either needs to be a notation in the database that "mono DJ mix differs slightly from the stereo version" or "Stereo 45 and LP mix" should appear next to all entries.
The missing high hat is reported in the book "8 Arms To Hold You". |

Rumor has it that "Ram" will be in the next round of McCartney remasters and will include the DJ-only MONO mix of the album!

Bill, does it match the length as well? I have a mono version that runs about (4:51) (after taking off a little dead space at the end)--my stereo version from All The Best runs about (4:41).

The RAM release is coming May 22nd from Concord. (Yes there is a mono release in here) There are four versions of the album coming out:
1) Single CD of the remastered stereo album.
2) Double CD with bonus tracks in stereo on CD 2. including "Another Day" and "Oh Woman Oh Why".
3) Boxed set which has all of the above and adds the MONO mix of RAM on a separate CD, and another remaster of RAM on a fourth CD, not sure if it's a remix.
4) Vinyl issue.
So we'll finally get the mono mix of "Uncle Albert Admiral Halsey", "Too Many People", and the entire "radio only" mono release of the entire LP. Unfortunately Concord did not take this opportunity to include the mono mix of "Another Day" and "Oh Woman Oh Why", we only get those in stereo.
I have the two CD advance copy, it sounds fantastic.

Oh, man, I wish the mono mix were available separately. I hate to spend $100 or so on the big box when all I'm really after is the mono mix. (I've already got the DCC version of "Ram," which sounds fabulous, so I don't really care about the stereo remaster.)

I was going to buy if the mono Another Day was included but, oh well.
