On the upcoming Now 39 cd there are two edits that I am not aware of so if anyone could specify their origin that would be great. 1) LMFAO "Party Rock Anthem" which runs (3:49) and 2) Jessie J "Price Tag" which runs (3:17).

The promo digital release for "Party Rock Anthem" has a "Radio Edit" that has an actual time of 3:53. It cuts off the first 14.7 seconds and chops the outro in half from 64 beats to 32. So remove the first 14.7 seconds, then remove 3:47.9 to 4:02.7, keep the rest. Results may vary.

Speaking of Party Rock Anthem, Kiss FM in Dallas is playing a version
that repeats "shake that" a few extra times at the first breakdown,
which covers up the "dead space" at that point. Is this an official edit,
or was it done simply to avoid having dead air every hour and 15
minutes? (yes, they spin their power songs very heavily)

On another promo radio release site this mix is called the "Updated Radio Edit". It's about 4:21. I think what Aaron mentions is the only difference.

The Party Rock Anthem", as it appears on the Now That's
What I Call Music runs 3:51 and cuts out the "dead space"
at around 2:11 on the explicit radio promo version.

Can anyone help me track down the "updated radio edit"? I heard it on XM/Sirius over the past several days and I believe it will work better for me.

I accidentally posted a duplicate message here regarding LMFAO featuring Lauren Bennett and GoonRock's "Party Rock Anthem", so I moved it to another thread devoted specifically to the song. It can be accessed by clicking here.
