Concerning "My Home Town" I'm not confidence slightly because this song has the quietest tone after 4:20. Please verify your 45.

I provide the info of his 45s reached Top 40 on the 80's decade only. Please, Post the 70s & 90s info etc.too.

Abagon, all of your fantastic 80's timing work is SO very much appreciated! I'll bet you've been wearing out/replacing your turntable's stylus just as quickly as I have been lately, with the 70's. Don't forget - keep taking your vitamins!

I second that, abagon! I especially like how you've been listing a complete discography of 45 run times for specific performers as you've done for Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, and Barry Manilow so far.

Was this a different mix/edit than the album cut?

Hi, SoCalDrew
I compared the US commercial 45 with the LP "Tunnel Of Love( but the Japanese issue)".
This 45 take is the same as the LP, but it is the 2 seconds early fade of the LP(actual LP running time is 5:09).

Hi,Jim and Todd.
Thank you for your appreciating. I'll do my best because I'm looking forward to completing the db. I can continue it thanks to everyone's encouraging words. I eat rices and vegetables abundantly everyday.

Did "Cover Me" actually have a separate radio remix / DJ edit, or is this just a radio version of the "Undercover Mix" listed on this 12"?

Bruce Springsteen - Cover Me at Discogs

I only remember hearing the album version on local top 40 radio... anybody remember differently?

Concerning "My Home Town"

The actual running time on the vinyl LP "Born In The U.S.A." is 4:30 (Columbia QC 38653/The listed time 4:33)
The database indicates "4:35" for the album CD "Born In The U.S.A."

Pat.
Is the U.S. CD longer than the vinyl?

Yes the cd is longer. This is not a speed issue.
