My promo CD of "Scandalous" contains the following:
PRO-CD-101296
1. Radio Edit (listed 3:59; actual 3:56)
2. Single Version (listed & actual 3:58)
3. Blacksmith Radio Remix (listed & actual 3:49)
The most obvious difference between cuts 1 and 2 is that the Radio Edit fades out during a chorus while the Single Version has more of a cold ending with an echoing synth.

My copy from Top Hits USA is labeled as the 'radio mix'. I've also seen online a 'Stargate Radio Mix' that I'm pretty sure is the same.

Aaron you description of the "radio edit" and "single version" is very strange since the commercial cd single states "single version" and does have the echoing synth ending like you indicate but the parent cd "Mis-Teeq" states "radio edit" but that "radio edit" is the same as the version on the commercial cd single. The version on "Totally Hits 2004" also has the echoing synth ending so none of the above fade out during a chorus. According to your description, they are all the "single version" as you describe so I can only assume that the version on the parent cd is incorrect and should read "single version" not "radio edit". If this is all true then the LP version is really the single version so no designation would be appropriate.

Guys, I own four different promo CD singles for this song. Two happen to
include the exact same contents (Aaron's earlier-reported PRO-CD-
101296, and my PRO-CD-101314. However, the latter is both
silkscreened and includes a paper front jewel case insert, with a pic of the
3 girls.) Here are the details for my two other promo CD singles:
Large sticker on front of this jewel case says:
"MIS-TEEQ featuring Twista - 'Scandalous' Remix". The front of this actual
CD says:
-Mis-Teeq--"Scandalous" (PRO-CD-101379)
1-Remix Featuring Twista (listed 3:44; actual 3:42)
2-She'kspere Remix (listed 4:20; actual 4:18)
3-Instrumental (Twista Version) (listed 3:33; actual 3:41)
4-Instrumental (She'kspere Version) (listed 4:17; actual 4:16)
5-Call-Out Hook (Twista Version)
6-Call-Out Hook (She'kspere Version)
7-Radio Edit (listed 3:57; actual 3:58)
My last promo CD single is a one-track, official Reprise "Digital Clone-Not
For Production - 07-19-04" issue. No "promo stock #". One track, and all
is says on the CD face is:
-Mis-Teeq--"Scandalous" Remix feat. Twista (listed 3:45; actual 3:42)
This final, digital clone promo track appears identical to track one of the
101379 promo. Reprise probably sent out the 7-cut, standard 101379
promo CD single to the Top 50-100 markets, with the one-track "poor
man's, bare-bones clone" going out to secondary markets. The WB family
of labels has been doing things like this with their promo CD singles for
many years now, no doubt to cut costs.
Pat/Aaron, if either of you need me to shoot out the contents of any of
these promos, to assist you in addressing any remaining issues/questions
for the song, let me know.
