The database will need to be changed for "Suzanne" by Journey. It currently says "LP length," when in fact this is an "LP version." It's one of the rare cases where the 45 is unedited, while the LP is edited. After the very last vocal, the 45 has an extra 11 seconds of music that has been edited out of the LP version.

Here's a video from YouTube listed as the 'single version' for your listening pleasure.

Suzanne - Journey

I added the code in the URL to listen to it in stereo.

In looking at listings on GEMM and Musicstack for the 45, they list the time as 3:38, which matches the LP time.

Aaron, is your 45 labeled 3:38 as well?

I don't want to pick up a 45, only to have it match the LP.

Yes, it is incorrectly labeled as (3:37). I think the database does make a note of this already, which is why I didn't repost the info.

You are correct. All I read was the first part pf Pat's sentence, saying the 45 was 3:47.

I need the GIANT print edition of the database, I think. LOL.

Aaron if i read your first post correctly, the LP version is just an early fade of the 45, not really an edit, hence my notation for 45 length and LP length.

Pat, there are 11 seconds of instrumental edited out of the LP version before the fade. These extra 11 seconds are on the 45. The LP version is not an early fade. I hope that helps to clarify my first post.

In that case you would be correct in that a 45 version and LP version comment are needed.

Does the 45 version exist anywhere? Maybe some import?

Thanks.
