It appears there is more than one promo CD for "Faithful" by Go West. I have a copy of the song on my TM Century CD labeled "Single Version" that runs (3:35). This is probably the "neither" version on the database CD Let It Rock 1993.
The online track listing says it is a two-disc promo (DPRO-04897):
1. Single Version
2. Album Version
The second disc has the "Single Version" as track 1 and 4 other Go West songs from prior albums.
I've seen a second track listing for DPRO-04565 which has:
No Rap
Extended Rap
Rap Intro
Since I cannot actually see a scan of the disc, I cannot verify the track list or times. In fact, I don't ever recall hearing rap in this song, so those track names puzzle me.

Is the single version the same as the "promo" version? The radio version I remember, repeats the first time that the final chorus is sang twice (right after the key change and final verse), and then fades it during the second chorus (or the third on the single....lol - that's confusing, but I wish I could articulate it better). In any case, is that what's on your "Let It Rock '93" disc?

Aaron, I own the discs you mention, and
here are the full details:
-Go West-"Faithful" (Special Limited Edition 2 CD set) - This was an EMI
marketing gimmick. They sent us only Disc One at first, stating "Disc Two
will be on your desk next week" (which it was).
Disc One details: (DPRO-04897) (no listed times)
1-Single Version (actual 3:36)
2-Album Version (actual 4:24)
Aaron is correct in that, except for the "repeated from Disc One" opening
track, Faithful, tracks 2-5 are simply Go West catalog tracks: (DPRO-
04647) (no listed times)
1-Faithful (Single Version (actual 3:36)
2-We Close Our Eyes
3-Don't Look Down
4-From Baltimore To Paris
5-Call Me
The other, 3-track promo Aaron is curious about, upon a quick listen,
sounds like it has a major reggae influence, which would explain the "rap"
(I will shortly shoot these 3 tracks out to Aaron, for his further evaluation)
(DPRO-04695) (no listed times)
1-Faithful (No Rap) (actual 4:08)
2-Faithful (Extended Rap) (actual 4:03)
3-Faithful (Rap Intro) (actual 4:14)

Thanks to Jim, I was able to hear the "rap" remixes of "Faithful." These are drastic remixes that don't resemble the original at all. It's a mix between dancehall reggae, as Jim points out, and New Jack Swing. It's sort of like Wreckx-N-Effect meets Shabba Ranks meets Go West. Interesting, to say the least. I certainly don't ever recall hearing these mixes on the air back in '93.

I can't say I've ever heard any remixes resembling those descriptions of "Faithful" either!
