Am I correct that the single version of Quiet Riot's "Metal Health" (titled on the single as "Bang Your Head") can NOT be recreated from the album version?

I was able to create the single version from the LP version, but I seem to recall there was something tricky about it. Perhaps an out-of-sequence edit or something like that. It's been 3 or 4 years since I did it.

Hm... OK. I'll have to take another listen.

Right before the song breaks down to only guitars, there's the line "metal health with drive you mad!" and I didn't (easily) find a matching line in the LP version.

I'll give it another shot tonight. Thanks for the info!
