I have a copy of America's Least Wanted (Stardog/Mercury P2-
12571) that has "Everything About You" on it. The stated time is
4:20 but the first six seconds is dialogue (the "It's Pat!" character
from Saturday Night Live). I don't know if this is a re-issue or
second printing of the CD, but Pat (Downey, that is) doesn't have it
listed in the database.

You are correct Paul, there seems to be a number of versions of this song floating around. On America's Least Wanted cd, "Everything About You" issued in 1992 runs (4:19) and is the same version as found on Buddah 99742 "Entertainment Weekly Greatest Hits 1992". The other versions in the database come from the 1991 cd release "As Ugly As They Wanna Be" and that version is missing the spoken intro by "Pat". Now, Whitburn lists the single as running (4:00) so the question to you chat board members is - do you have the cassette single of "Everything About You" and if so could you time it to see if it really runs (4:00) and if so is it really a 45 version or just a length that is an early fade of the LP appearance?

I know for certain that a "clean edit" was at least issued on promo copies. The following lines were removed:
"I don't really care about your sister
F*** the little b**** 'cause I already kissed her
One thing that I did to your lady
I put her on the bed and she didn't say maybe"
This edit is on my TM Century library and runs (4:06).

Yes that's right. I have a copy of the Stardog/Mercury promo CD. Comes in a gatefold cardboard sleeve. Same version that's on the Century gold disc series CD.
