Our commercial 45 copy of "Do I Love You?" by The Ronettes (Phillies 121) states a time of (2:32), but actually runs (2:53). This makes it all five of their Top 40 hits with the wrong time on the label!

Paul, with all you have going on at Record Research, thanks as always for taking the time to post your latest time discrepancy findings to us here on Pat's Board. My latest RR circular stated that Mr. Whitburn is gonna start offering access to his massive BB databases to his customers. I think this is a great idea, and I will soon be taking advantage of this offer myself! :)

I was a subscriber to the Whitburn site even before I discovered this database. Nice to discover Joel's database is coming online soon. Been a long wait, and I'm sure alot of work to assemble it.

That's odd. My original stock Philles 45 runs 2:53!!?!?!?!?????!?!!?

Gary, I re-timed our copy and did indeed come up with (2:53). The first time, I got interrupted and didn't quite get all of the fade. I've edited my initial post to the correct time. Thanks for the heads up!

Pat, I see you say there are two different pressings in the database...I hope you make that correction. I apologize for any confusion. (Note to self: when someone interrupts during a long fade, TIME IT AGAIN!)

I certainly echo Jim's sentiments, Paul. There are no doubt a number of significant printed vs. actual 45 run time discrepencies for '50s and '60s hits that still haven't been accounted for in the database, so please keep passing along those findings!
