There's a little intro on the LP version that gets stripped on the 45--other than that I believe they're the same.

There are also slight mixing differences as well as one lyrical difference: before the sax solo Lou Gramm sings "I'm coming home" on the LP; on the single he sings "I'm a long way from home".

My commercial 45 has a listed time of (2:45), but an actual time of (2:50).

One of those mix differences is a harmony vocal near the end of the song, over the second repeat of the line "But I'm a long, long way from home." But the different lyric is the most obvious way to tell the single from the LP version.
