Hey there. Was there ever an edit for this (promo or stock), or were all copies the LP version?

Does anyone remember hearing (or playing) the remix radio edit of Annie Lennox's "No More 'I Love You's'" on their local Top 40 radio station? I'm pretty sure I've always heard the 45/LP version.

We played a house edit of this song...the GM hated the
maniacal laughter over the bridge and asked me to edit it
out. I think my edit ran ~3:45 or so...I saved a dub of
it somewhere.
What was the difference between the radio edit and the
album version?

I think the radio edit is of the remix, not the album version.

Is the remix radio edit a significantly different mix than the 45/LP version?

The remix for "No More I Love You's" is an entirely different beast... an uptempo club remix by Junior Vasquez that is actually a medley of three songs from the Medusa album: "No More...", "Take Me To The River" and "Downtown Lights".
The Radio Edit being discussed (as well as three other, lengthier variations of this alternate arrangement) is included on the follow-up US single from Medusa, "A Whiter Shade Of Pale".
You can listen to the full remix on youtube: No More "I Love You's" Remix (Junior's Club Mix)
The only other variation I'm aware of for this song is the soundtrack to the music video which features a unique percussive lead-in over the intro and is otherwise identical to the single/album version.
Watch the video on dailymotion: No More "I Love You's" (Music Video)
Hope this helps!

Now that the database has documented the promo CD single
information for "No More 'I Love You's'", I thought I'd also report that
commercial cassette single copies have an actual run time of 4:49
(there's no listed time or track description... Thanks to Ed for
supplying all the preceding info).

I knew I wasn't going crazy! Here in NY they never played the maniacal laughter either (yep us NY people got some weird edits by those house people on WPLJ that I couldn't begin to document). Every CD version always had it but the radio NEVER had it. The song was already running almost 5 minutes I guess radio had to trim it somewhere.

The edit points of the WPLJ edit I remember of the 4:49 version that I recreated just now from memory are removing the part from 2:37.629 mark to 3:05.645 (the maniacal laughter) and then begin fading out right after "with changes are shifting outside the world" as soon as the dub-de-do-do-do-ah ah's come in. That's slightly lengthier than the 3:45 Hykker quotes, but is 4 minutes.
