So BSharp mentioned this which got me curious
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pd5QU8ibtY
I think this is the KISS 108 mix you are talking about. Explosive beginning and full of instrumental freestyle! I think prisdeej was looking for this also! I love it.
If anyone knows what CD this is on give us a heads up. The youtube video sounds like it has no vinyl artificats so maybe there is hope it is on CD somewhere.

DJ Steve Spinelli has his facebook right there on the page where your link goes. Maybe you could ask him directly where he picked up that mix?

Richie, when I joined this forum 10 years ago, this was
the FIRST song I asked about. I would vote this record
being the number #1 1980's track that has the most in-
house radio edits. A US 45 does exist, which is also
the radio version on the promo 12" single.
I dubbed the edit off the 12" and gave it to Mark
Mathews so he could perform the surgery from the CD
version. This is not a straight cut from the LP version
because there's unique audio throughout the edit
including a unique vocal on the fade.
This is the first time I'm hearing this Kiss108 edit, so
no memory attached to this one. I believe the lossless
version created by Mark is the most accurate to the
single version until he unearths the 45 master.

In the words of Lucy, when Schroeder plinks out "Jingle
Bells" with a true toy-piano sound...
THAT'S IT!!!!!!
Even better: I've spoken with Steve Spinelli a few
times. Looks like I'll be reaching out to him now to
see if there's a better-quality version of this.
Thanks everyone!

While looking for the single version on YouTube they're quite a few
custom creations floating around. I found a dub of the correct one
here

If you manage to get it from him, let me know. I would be curious if it was lossless or not.
