Has anyone noticed that there appears to be what sounds like a click at about 2:33-2:34 in this song on the word, "Ageless"? I have the song on the compilations Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 and The Essential Barbra Streisand, and they both have that same click at the same point in the song. Apparently, it was also on the original 45 as well, as THIS YouTube video of the original 45 being played also has it at about the 2:54 mark. I would assume all other CD Copies of the song and the original Vinyl Soundtrack album have it as well.

I assumed this was a percussion instrument, such as a
clave. It has reverb on it so its likely not a glitch
(tape noise or pops would not have a long reverb trail
like this).

Heard this song again today and remembered
this thread. Just curious here, has anyone
ever tried "de-clicking" that little click on
the word, "ageless"? I don't have any programs
on my PC that can do it, but am willing to try
it myself if anyone can recommend a good
program for it.

Since it's a studio noise with a long decay of reverb (meaning it's possibly on the lead vocal track... maybe Babs smacked her lips or hit
the pop filter screen with one of her finger nails??), removing it entirely would not be easy without causing a lot of artifacts.

Yeah, it's a weird sound, but it's fixable. Don't know if
it SHOULD be fixed, but I fixed it. PM me if you want to
hear it. BTW, it's on the mono promo 45, dubbed by the Prof:
