My commercial 45, which is stereo, has a listed time of (2:56), but an actual time of (2:53).

Any info on the mono U.K. 45 since there is no U.S. mono.
What did they play on AM radio in 1969?

We just played the (stereo)promo 45. A lot of stations
replaced the mono cartridges with stereo ones with right
and left combined due to some incompatibility issues,
but the small market station I worked at AFAIK hadn't
done so yet. Most songs played just fine.

I have the UK RCA single (don't know if it is in Oak
Ridge, or Athens). I'll try to dig it out for you and
report back. On AM Radio, there was likely an RCA Victor
mono promo 45 available.
