The Iconoclassic label is releasing for the first time on
CD later this month, this Dan Hartman album from 1981 which
includes two Hot 100 songs (the title track and Heaven in
your arms) and one Bubbling under song (All I need).

It'll be interesting to find out where it was licensed from and if it is from a tape. -Bill.

I have two Iconoclassic releases, the expanded Carole Bayer
Sager's Sometimes late at night from 2023 and a John
Cafferty and the Beaver Brown band Greatest Hits from 2022
and they both sound very good and have extensive liner
notes in their booklets.

I believe Sony controls the masters. Typically their tape transfers and mastering department deliver the goods, even when licensing to another label (i.e. Icconoclassic's
Guess Who remasters).

This CD release was remastered by Vic Anesini. The 45 of the song that bubbled under ("All I Need") was an edit of the longer LP version. Unfortunately, this release doesn't include that 45 edit.
