I remember in, I believe, the '90s I read about one CD
having a remix of Perry Como's "Seattle".
I can't find the source, although I believe it was a Como
comp.
Can anyone help me out with this?
Good record, although the original stereo mix isn't too
wide.

Andy, I have 'Seattle' on 2 Perry Como CD comps. Perry Como, 20 Greatest Hits, Volume 2. BMG UK
89020. On this one it is the typical RCA stereo, muddy, muffled, not very impressive. On the other
Comp titled, Perry Como, The Essential 60's Singles Collection, Taragon 1058, is spectacular in
comparison. Nice and wide with Perry in the left channel and the background singers in the right.
As far as remixed? I don't think so, just taken from a much better source tape. -Bill.

Also, this is one of those that should be added to the database since it peaked at #38
Billboard, #36 Record World, and #42 Cashbox. Just my 2 cents! -Bill.
