Ed, not all copies of GHV2 even contain the track "Tiny Dancer." I remember reading the track listing (which showed the song was on there), and then picking up a copy from a used CD store without even looking at the track list. When I got it home, I was very disappointed to find that the track was missing from my copy. Here's the info from my CD:
MCAD-37216 - Matrix: DIDX-000375 4
Track List:
1. The Bitch Is Back
2. Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
3. Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word
4. Don't Go Breaking My Heart
5. Someone Saved My Life Tonight
6. Philadelphia Freedom
7. Island Girl
8. Grow Some Funk Of Your Own
9. Levon
10. Pinball Wizard

Now, THAT'S an interesting find. I don't think I have that one... I thought all the MCA editions of that CD didn't even have Tiny Dancer on them. I thought only the Polydor and Rocket editions did.

i see what happened........cddb, the web source for the track listing screwed up.........the track shows as "tiny dance" but is actually "sorry seams to be the hardest word"..........what is also strange is that it does show in allmusic.com that the song DOES appear on the cd......does anyone have the song on the disc??

Well, there's two different editions: the original MCA, which does NOT have Tiny Dancer, and the Polydor, which has Tiny Dancer and I Feel Like a Bullet instead of Don't Go Breaking My Heart and Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word.
The CD was remastered when labels were changed and Polydor did not have the rights to Elton's Rocket Records material, so they coudln't put "Sorry" and "Breaking" on their edition of the CD.

the ever-helpful jimct has provided me an mp3 of the dj 45 version of "tiny dancer"... this version is in stereo and fades quickly @ about 3:35, contrary to the database, which lists the time @ 3:45... can anyone verify this time??? was the dj version a stereo/mono flip??? thanks...

The dub I provided jrjr was received from a trusted friend, several years ago, so that's why I cannot confirm the details of what I sent him myself - any help would be appreciated!

The actual 45 running time of my dj copy is (3:41) not (3:45) as stated on the record label and it is stereo and does not fade quickly at all.
