The database currently states a listed time of (4:15), but an actual time of
(3:13). But both sides of my promo 45 AND my stock 45 state and actually
DO run (4:15). Stock deadwax says T54260; then there's a large "smudge"
I've never seen on deadwax before, which is trying to obscure "63147 - 2AS
RE-1 1-S-03B". Since the label says this is Tamla T54261F, having one
number BEFORE that appear in the deadwax is a little weird. My promo's
stereo promo deadwax says "T54261-63147-2A RE-1 1-S-03A"; mono
promo deadwax is the same, except for "1-M-03B" at the end. I'm sure you
do possess a (3:13) length 45, Pat. Just reporting to you what I happen to
have.

Well I don't know about my statement regarding a commercial copy with a stated time of (4:15) but an actual time of (3:13) but I would guess that I found a better quality 45 and threw away the 45 that ran (3:13). But I did come across a dj edit that runs (3:13) that states (3:16) and the matrix number on the stereo side is T54261F 63147-S-03C while the matrix number on the mono side is T54261F 63147-M-03C. I notice Joel Whitburn lists the commercial copy as running (3:13) so maybe Paul Haney can verify the existence of a commercial copy that runs (3:13).

why do i always have the odd 45!.....my commercial 45
issued as motown 54261 lists on the label a run time of
4:15 but actually runs 3:13...the run out groove info is
'T54261F-63147-S-03D #T4'....so there are surely TWO
commercial vinyl versions of this 45 after all!
