Does anybody know if there is a 45-version of this song available on CD? Every disc I have tried has the LP-version. I much prefer the 45-version to the LP-version. The guitar solo in the middle and at the end of the song is much more pronounced than the keyboards on the LP-version. The 45-version also doesn't have the hard ending of the LP-version.

Unfortunately, I've never found it. The whole 45 version is a remix. The first verse of the 45 has some percussion under the vocals, too, that isn't present on the LP.

my commercial 45 of the loverboy song "this could be the night" issued as columbia 06765 states a run time on the label as 4:14 but actually runs 4:13 and is a remix of the 4:57 cd/lp version.....this 45 run time info should be added to the db....
