I just picked up a new cd by the Bangles titled "Glitter Years: Rarities & Gems" and the cd jacket says that the version of "Eternal Flame" on this cd is the single version. I was not aware that there was a single version and after listening I cannot detect any difference between this version and the version on the Bangles CD "Everything". Anyone have any information on a single version of this song?

This seems to be a fairly common occurence on Sony various artist CD compilations.

How about how every '80s collection with Duran Duran's "Hungry Like the Wolf" claims to have the 'album version', but none ever have that entire instrumental first 'verse' that appeared on my vinyl copy of 'Rio'?
