My commerical 45, and both the mono and stereo sides of my promo 45, show a listed time of (3:38). But all 3 have an actual time of (3:43), bringing it into line with most of the CDs currently shown in the database.

The database shows no indication of album version vs. single version for this song, yet H&O's "Very Best Of" CD specifically labels the version of this song on that CD as "single version". Does anyone know exactly what the difference is, and why it isn't indicated as such in the database? Is it a "single length" difference (perhaps a slight early fade)?

One thing i remember is on "Along The Red Ledge" tracks
into the next selection.
The long cold end note never fades, it goes until 3:50 and
the next song starts abruptly.
The 45, however, fades that long note quite a bit sooner.

I've noticed on all the different Best-Of sets, the ending
note varies a little. On the box set it goes all the way
to 3:51 and then finishes naturally, so i guess that's the
longest of the lot.

So I guess what the "Very Best" CD labels as "single version", by our definitions it would simply be "single length", and not even like a section of music was faded early, just the last note faded a tiny bit early!
