Noticed the designation of "LP speed and length" for the Raspberries' "Let's Pretend." Was the 45 faster or slower (and by how much), and what is the correct 45 length for the song (to see if I can pitch it and fade it accordingly)?

From my notes I made about this song a couple of years ago:
- The 45 runs 2:52.
- The fade on the 45 starts at 2:36.
- The fade on the 45 ends at the word 'me' which on the Capitol Collectors Series CD occurs at 2:55.
By my math that makes the 45 about 1.7% faster than the LP speed.

Thanks, Paul. Think I got it pretty close.

it's dead on.....also, the db was never updated with the
vinyl 45 run time info.....pat please add the commercial 45
issued as capitol 3546 states the run time on the label as
2:51 but actually runs 2:52

Here's a surprise. I've just discovered that I have actually owned this song in its 45 form on CD for almost a quarter century.
Around 1990, Rhino issued a number of four song, three inch CD's. In an order I placed from their catalogue around that time, I purchased the Raspberries 3-inch CD (the only 3-inch CD I've ever owned). My CD player, however, couldn't accommodate 3-inch CDs and so I stored it away without ever playing it.
This morning, I came across the 3-inch CD and popped the disc which I have owned for well over twenty years but had never played into my computer (the last time I'd tried to play it, the idea of playing a CD on a computer was just a pipe dream) and wouldn't-you-know-it, it has "Let's Pretend" at the correct 45 length and speed.

Nice find Paul, that 3 inch CD also has the single edit of "Tonight". Although that didn't make it high enough for the database.
