My original mono 1958 Cadence 45 for this #3 BB hit has both a listed and actual time of (2:44). I post this only because, aside from one Curb CD that also states this exact time, the other 16 database CDs that feature this song ALL state a listed time of either (2:37) or (2:38), with no current database notation.

After listening to the LP version of "Are You Sincere", I think it is an alternate vocal take and certainly much faster than the 45. I would welcome other input as to my thought on the LP version (from "Best") being an alternate vocal take.

Pat, do you have the actual LP time? I'm curious to know if the run time is consistent with all the 2:37-2:38 CD appearances in the database.

I agree Pat that the Curb "Best Of" is a different vocal take than the more common version and runs slower (gee, I never noticed before!). Now, how can we be certain this is the 45 version? Jim, can you shoot me a dub?

well Pat, Jim shot me a 45 dub (thanks Jim!), and yes, the Curb CD is the same as the 45. Both Andy's and the background vocals are different. As for the music...not sure on that one. It could be the same, but played at the two different speeds.
