My commercial 45, which is stereo, has a listed time of (4:58), but an actual time of (4:55).

If anyone has the short promo 45, would you be so kind as to send me a dub? Thanks in advance!

Is it just an early fade?

Yes, simply an early fade, at the slower 45 pitch

Bill, if you have your 45 dubbed, would you mind sending over an mp3? Thanks!

The "Edited Version" side of the promo 45 has a printed time of 3:36 and an actual time of 3:38. As Bill mentions, you'll have to adjust the speed to match the correct 45/LP version speed, since most CDs are sped up. Once you have the full-length version running 4:55, simply fade from 3:29 to 3:38 to create the promo version.
