jim,
my commercial 45 has a run time of 2:20 with the same
listed run time of 2:18.....the run out groove info is
machine stamped 'LB..1751..1'....is there any way you can
re-time your 45 as the 2:13 you're coming up with is quite
a bit shorter than what i came up with.....

Ed, I happen to own two commercial 45 copies for "Drag City". Both are
confirmed as Liberty 55641. I just re-timed them. I again come up with the
same listed (2:18), actual (2:13) time that I'd reported back in 2007. For both
copies. Deadwax info: one copy has a machine-stamped "LB-1751-RE2",
while the other copy has a handwritten "LB-1751-RE1". The version on the
"Complete Liberty Singles" CD runs a few seconds longer than both of my
45s do. So we clearly have another "multiple 1964 stock 45
pressings/timings" situation here, Ed. Unfortunately, I don't own a promo 45
for the song, to refer to.
