Does anyone know where (if anywhere) I can find the video mix of "Always
Something There to Remind Me"? The intro features the chimes but without
the rhythm track behind it... was it even released?

Radio stations were first issued this 45 without the drums. 501056A is on the label. I would assume that's the song in it's original state. Then it was reissued with the drums to radio as 501056C.
I don't have this song on CD without the drums, TM Century might have it on their radio station CD library. Maybe someone else can "chime in" on what state this song was in on the original album issue, or if it's been issued on CD ever in it's original state.

The "video" mix can be found on the Australian import set called "Complete Eighties" (EMI 0946 312070 2 0).

I believe this was discussed in another thread, but there are also commercial 45s and commercial LPs that have the "chimes only" intro.

Thanks for the info. For me, "Complete Eighties" is tough to justify
purchasing, since I've got just about everything else on there. Can anyone
point me to an MP3 of the chimes-only version, by any chance?
