I saw a track listing today that shows this new Rhino release of the Bee Gees double CD "Greatest Hits" will feature the long 12" Promo Only version of Stayin' Alive as a bonus track.
FYI

EXCELLENT! I cleaned up the vinyl on that one several months ago, but it will be nice to finally have it direct from the master tapes.

According to Rhino's official web site, the street date is currently Tuesday the 18th...
After reading BillCahill's initial post last night, I immediately went over to Google, hoping to find the complete track listing myself, since it wasn't posted here. But entering "Greatest Hits", as given above, kept turning up only 2001's "Their Greatest Hits: The Record". But truth be told, it turns out the collection in question will actually be a re-issue of 1979's "Bee Gees Greatest", remastered and w/ bonus tracks...
Oh, and here's that track list, for those who may also be interested:
Jive Talkin'
Night Fever

You Should Be Dancing

I picked up a copy of the Bee Gees remaster, and it's definitely better than the older version. I always found that the original slightly faded in the intros on some of the tracks. The new version corrects this problem and adds some nice bonus tracks.
For me, the highlight is having the promo 12" version of "Stayin' Alive." While this new-to-cd version sounds excellent from the master tape, it should be noted that it runs much slower than the promo 12" vinyl. The version on Greatest seems to run at the same speed as the LP version, while the vinyl version runs pitched up by about 2% when compared with the LP version.
