My commercial 45 has a listed time of (3:03), but an actual time of (3:06). I also spotted that all 4 of the CDs currently in the database for this song run even longer, either (3:12) or (3:13).

Is the 45 an edit of the LP version? If so, where did they
snip the less than ten seconds from?

I re-created this edit, but I can't recall so I'll check it when I am home tonight. I think the edit was in the intro. MM

Ok, I found it. The edit wasn't in the intro, it was in
the music break that starts approx. 2:00. The 45 shortens
the break by removing the last part, from about 2:10 -
2:16. And that was it.
I consider this one of those "why did they bother?" type
edits.

Thanks Mark (and yes some of these single edits where all
they cut out is a few seconds makes you wonder).
