This song was flipped over by radio, as "That Girl" was listed as the "A" side, on the commercial 45. Asylum must've had an idea this situation might happen, since right from the start, they sent nothing but stock copies of this 45 to us at the station, which was highly unusual for them in '83. Because of this, I have NEVER seen a promo 45 for "All Those Lies", or its flip side, for that matter. My commercial 45 has both a listed and actual time of (4:43), which is exactly the same time as its lone database CD appearance, on "No Fun Aloud". My question: Is anyone aware of a promo 45 for "All Those Lies?" And, if so, was it the same, (4:43) version as the stock 45/LP? Or, was there a shorter promo 45, possibly issued during its chart run, once radio made its apparent "final choice of sides?"
