Does anyone know if a short promo 45 exists for J. Geils Band's "One Last Kiss"? If so, there's nothing mentioned about it in the database.

Todd, I asked this VERY same question to myself, about a month ago. Since then, I have been attempting to locate a promo 45 for it, so I can see what it contains. I'll report back when I have found it. Unless, of course, someone else already owns one, and can enlighten all of us sooner!

Good news, guys! I have located a promo 45, and it is currently on order. I'll post the details as soon as I receive it. The "short version" has a printed time of (3:37).

By the way, the actual commercial 45 run time of J. Geils Band’s “One Last Kiss” is 4:21. (Timing info compliments of Jim. The printed record label time is 4:22.) At the moment, the database notes only the DJ 45 time for this song.

Can the promo 45 be extracted from the stock 45/LP version?

What exactly does the promo 45 edit out?

Two instrumental passages--one from about (2:13)-(2:27.8), the other from about (3:13)-(3:34) (both times based off the stock 45/LP version). The one at (3:13) is a little trickier, since it's not exactly clean.
