I just noticed that the mono DJ side of "Top of the World" by the Carpenters ends differently than the stereo DJ side. The stereo side has a back and forth two guitar effect on the final two notes, like you hear on the CD releases of the single version.

The mono side sounds like just one guitar hitting the final two notes straight on. I believe the mono ending just features the guitar heard in the left channel at the end of the stereo version. The guitar from the right channel appears to be completely mixed out on the mono DJ copy, giving the ending a different effect.

I assume that stock 45s are stereo so this ending is probably unique to the DJ copy.
