I just checked the version of "Talk To Me" by Stevie Nicks on JCD-3171 Only Rock'n Roll #1 Radio Hits 1985-1989, and this is a completely different mix and vocal take from the LP Version on the Rock A Little and Timespace CDs.
This is not the first CD where I've heard this mix. It has shown up on a TM Century Gold Disc back in the 80s (Gold Disc 121), but they later reissued disc 121 with enhanced sound and they replaced "Talk To Me" with the LP Version.
Anyone know where this mix comes from? There is no indication in the 8th Edition of Pat's book that there are two different mixes. The song has no comments next to any of the CDs on which it's listed.

By the way, I've listened to the commercial 45, and I'm 99% sure that the LP and 45 versions are the same.

Good ears Aaron. There are 2 cd's that have this alternate take, JCI 3171 as you mentioned above and Time-Life R988-04 Sounds Of The Eighties 1986.
