My commercial 45, which is mono and confirmed as Philly Groove 157, has a listed time of (3:06) and an actual time of (3:07). I only post this info because the three current database CDs that feature this song have longer run times, ranging from (3:15) to (3:17). Probably this is the original LP version length - can anyone confirm?

Did "You Got Yours and I'll Get Mine" ever appear on any of the Delfonics' parent LP releases, or was it released only on 45? My research hasn't yet uncovered a Delfonics LP with the song on it.

Todd, you're correct, the song didn't appear to make its LP debut until 3 months after its 8/69 45 release, when it was included on "The Delfonics Super Hits" LP, released in 11/69. Perhaps this is the origin of the (3:15) to (3:17) version of the song. Can anyone confirm?

So this means all the current database entries are the LP version? I ask since none of them are labeled that way. If so, then what is the difference between the LP and 45 versions? Is it an edit or just an early fade?

Santi the (3:16) running times are not an LP version but an LP length.

Thanks Pat. So does the 45 actually have the same long intro as does the longer version? In other words does the vocal on the 45 start at approximately the twenty second mark in to the song?

Did a version of this song ever appear on LP at anytime where the intro starts with a spoken word intro of "Ladies and gentlemen these are the Delfonics." I ask because a version with that intro appears on a recent Funky Town Grooves CD release where this song is a bonus track.
