The 45 version appearances of the Power Stations' "Bang a Gong (Get It On)" on CD all run at or very close to the actual commercial 45 run time of 3:43, except on the Best Of Both Worlds: The Robert Palmer Anthology (1974-2001) CD (Hip-O/Island 314586688) where the song only runs 3:36. Can anyone confirm if this disc is simply faded :07 sooner than the true 45 length?
