First of all Pat, thanks for the nice website you've put up. I especially like its simplicity. There are no images bouncing around trying to jump out at me from the screen. My favorite sections are the "Reviews" and "Chat Board".
In another thread someone referred to your book:
"Cash Box Pop Singles Charts: 1950-1993"
Is this book still in-print? Whether it is or isn't (I may can find a used copy), could you tell me a little about it?
For example:
1) Does it contain actual reprints of the charts?
2) Are the charts/data Top 40 (or) Top 100?
3) Is this book basically the Cashbox equivalent to the Whitburn books as far as the type and amount of chart data contained within?
Any other info you can give about "Cash Box Pop Singles Charts: 1950-1993" that I may have forgotten to ask about, would also be helpful.
I own your 1955-1981 (1994) edition of "Top 40 Music On Compact Disc" - ha!, about time for a newer edition, wouldn't you say ;-) - but don't recall seeing the "...Charts" book I just asked about.
Thanks,
Bill

The Cash Box Singles Charts 1950-1993 has been out of print for some time. I see them pop up on Ebay at times used, but for outrageous prices. The book resembled Whitburn's Billboard book, just stating top 100 chart positions and not publishing actual charts.
If you can find the 1st edition of Top 40 Music On Compact Disc, that book gives the Cash Box chart positions of the top 40 hits only. I have a couple of those but I would only sell them as part of the entire library of Top 40 Music On Compact Disc volumes 1-10. Or you can make me an offer on buying out the whole company and those volumes would be included in the purchase price!

LOL!...Well, I *am* impressed with your company and books. You pay attention to detail, are anal about correctness and honest with your opinions (e.g., "Reviews" section) - 3 good, NO,...GREAT traits.
Your comment reminded me of that old TV commercial where that guy was so impressed with the Remmington electric razor, that he bought the company. Of course, there's that tiny matter concerning money...I guess it would be better for me just to try eBay. ;-)
Having actual chart reprints is not necessary for my purposes and I do want Top 100 data instead of just Top 40, so, I think I'll start looking.
Thanks for your time replying to my questions.
