Pat, I just picked up a U.S. CD, released in 2000, titled "Ramsey Lewis's Finest Hour" on Verve/UMG 314 543 763-2. It includes all four of his database entries. I did notice another Verve CD collection or two in the database (for "The In Crowd") that does include the original Argo LP version on it, so I assumed that could again be the case here. But just now, before I break the seal on this CD, I'm a little nervous as to its contents. So I went to see what your database analysis was for it, but unfortunately, I do not see this CD in your database at all. I faintly seem to recall that there may have been some sort of "Finest Hour" "series", for selected jazz artists, right around the issue date of this CD. Could you please look into this situation for me, whenever time allows? (Hopefully, within my window to be able to return this CD!   :)    )

Thanks, Tom. I certainly should've figured out that one myself, considering I just bought the CD from Amazon! What had me a litle nervous was a (7:20) listed time for "The In Crowd" on the disc's insert. But Amazon has it as the more common (5:50). I just listened, and both that snippet and "Hang On Sloopy" DO sound to me exactly like the original Argo recordings, so I'll go ahead and "break the seal!"
