although not in the db, this song did hit the billboard airplay charts in late 1997 peaking at number 21, and is commonly listed in amy grants' discography, so i believe it should be noted here as to the versions on the promo cd single....

takes a little time (amsad 00427)

1-single w/full intro (4:07)
2-single w/o full intro (4:05)
3-lp version (4:33)

there was a commercial cd single issued later on as myrrh 701-703161x which lists the below tracks

1-takes a little time (4:33)
2-somewhere down the road (5:09)
3-get shaddai (4:10)

I seem to recall that Billboard didn't count sales of the Amy Grant "Takes a Little Time" CD single toward any of its charts because the title was only made available as a limited edition release at select Christian book/music stores. Therefore Billboard treated the song as an album cut and, as such, was not eligible to chart on the Hot 100 at the time.

Can anyone confirm this?

Todd, I don't recall the Amy Grant one of the top of my head, but that was definitely the case for "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle.
