The actual commercial 45 run time of the Partridge Family's "I Woke Up in Love This Morning" is 2:44. (Timing info once again courtesy of good ole Jim. The printed record label time is 2:43.) I post this because database CD run times all run at least :04 shorter than the 45 length. This leads me to believe the LP length must be shorter. So does anyone have a copy of the Partridge Family 1971 parent vinyl LP Sound Magazine who can pass along the song's actual run time on it?

Has it been determined if this is a length issue or a speed issue?

FYI
I compared the commercial 45 (Bell 45 130) with the "Greatest Hits" CD. (Arista ARCD-8604) This is a "length issue." But I don't have "The Partridge Family Sound Magazine" LP. So I can't answer about the 45 vs. the LP.

the cd version from 'the definitive collection' cd runs
slightly slower than the vinyl 45....you can pitch up that
cd version by a little to match the speed, but you'll
still be short 0:02 (2:41 sped up cd vers, versus 2:43
vinyl 45 version)...my vinyl 45 sounds, to me to run
2:43...
