The actual commercial 45 run time of Bad Company's "Movin' On" is 3:20. (Thanks to Jim for providing the timing info. The printed record label time is 3:21.) Currently, all database CDs run at or very close to the correct 45 length, except for the Bad Company gold CD release on Audio Fidelity 024 which runs :05 longer.

Was there a difference between the single and album versions of this? I never noticed one.

I recently picked up a copy of the Bad Company gold CD on Audio Fidelity 024 and I figured out why "Movin' On" runs :05 longer on it than on the 45 and all other database CDs.... That's because the track begins with a countoff. Does anyone know if this countoff preceded the song on the Bad Company vinyl LP release?

There is no countoff on the 45 or LP.

Ron pointed out that there appears to be a mix difference--the 45 mix can be found on their Anthology CD. Not sure how that
affects the other CDs in the database that have it.

I've compared the "Single Mix" version from Anthology and
the LP version, and for the life of me I cannot hear any
difference. Can anyone point out what differentiates the
"single mix" from the LP version? ...I have the same
question about the 45 of "Takin' it to the Streets" from
the Doobie Brothers which is often listed as "Single Mix",
but to me sounds identical to the LP except for the
difference in length.

Looks like Pat has removed the single mix notation from the
database.
