The song "Breakin' My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)" by Mint Condition appears on one of the database CDs as "neither." Could this perhaps be one of the many versions from the promo CD?
I don't own the promo, but I've seen it on eBay before. Two of the cuts, the Brown Eyed Edit and the Album Edit, appear on TM Century discs. The video on YouTube uses the Album Edit, rather than the Brown Eyed Edit (aka 45 version).

my commercial cassingle issued as perspective 0004 contains the 2 tracks listed below
1-breakin' my herat (pretty brown eyes) "album edit"
2-breakin' my heart (pretty brown eyes) "brown eyed edit"
the cardboard sleeve does not state run times but the cassingles face states
program one as "4:46"
program two as "4:46"
so, the single version is actually the "album edit" and NOT the "brown eyed edit"

Thanks for the correction, Ed. You are correct about the 45 version being the Album Edit. This was also detailed a long time ago in the Single/Album versions thread started by Todd. My mistake! I do believe, though, that I've seen a promo CD that has the Brown Eyed Edit as track 1. (Perhaps that's why I was thinking it was the 45 version.) Does anyone recall which version they heard most often on top 40 radio?

I love this song! I have the cd single in question, and can dig it out if it can be of use in answering questions about it.

Steve, if it's easily accessible, I think it would be helpful to incorporate the promo CD details in the database. Please post it at your convenience! It also might help in determining which version likely received the most airplay.

Thank you, Jim! That's the promo I was referring to, although my memory was bad. Apparently, the Brown Eyed Edit was not issued as the lead track of any promos. It also appears that the "neither" version doesn't match up time-wise with any of the versions on your promo CD.
