Regarding Bon Jovi's "This Ain't a Love Song", the database currently states the following comment:

(dj copies of this cd single run (4:21) and (5:04); commercial copies were all (5:04))

I have a promo CD single copy on Mercury CDP 1455 containing three tracks and I thought I'd pass along the specific track listing descriptions and run time information:

1) CHR Edit - 4:21
2) AC Mix - 4:21
3) Album Version - 5:04

The CHR Edit is an edit of the album version. I also compared the CHR Edit and AC Mix and really could not detect any distinct difference between the two. The AC Mix sounds like it may have been mixed with a slightly warmer EQ to help soften the electric guitars a wee bit, but to the naked ear the two tracks are basically indistinguishable from one another. If anyone can point to any significant differences that I may be missing, please feel free to post it them.

my commercial cassingle of the song issued as mercury 856824 does not state a version but does list a run time of 5:06 but actually runs 5:03 and is identical to the full length cd/lp version......i have an import promo cd single issued as mercury jovdj17 which has 3 tracks as listed below

1-radio edit (4:20)
2-ac mix (4:20)
3-album version (5:03)

i don't know how these tracks compare to todd's promo cd single but i would be curious to know....
