in the database it states that the 45 version runs 4:08 while the lp version runs 5:18..........i have the cassingle version and it runs 5:18 identical to the lp version...........is it possible that you are referencing the dj 45 version and NOT the commercial 45 version which should run identical to the cassingle version........please advise....

Although the database contains the promo CD single info for Johnny Gill's "My, My, My", it's currently missing the cassette single info which Ed earlier reported having a run time of 5:18.
Now, does anyone know the correct commercial vinyl 45 run time? At present, database CD appearances of the vinyl 45 version range widely from 4:03-4:14.

Just today, I obtained a second promo CD single for Johnny Gill's "My, My, My." I somehow doubt these versions received any top 40 airplay, but perhaps some late-night "quiet storm" shows gave it spins.
PRD-90019
1. Live Version (Extended Mix) (listed 10:36; actual 10:37)
2. Live Version (Radio Edit) (listed 5:08; actual 5:07)
3. Live Version (Record Breaking Mix) (listed 16:45; actual 16:42)
Off the top of my head, I cannot think of any other promo CD single in my collection containing a longer song version than #3 here. For those who seek the "Record Breaking Mix" for themselves, it can be found on the CD maxi single for "Wrap My Body Tight."

Is that Kenny G uncredited in the background on sax? I never noticed until now...
