Happy new year!
I noticed today that this song fades early on "Tommy Boy Greatest Beats Volume 4" (which is also included in the TB box set). I had only been familiar with the cold-ending version that seems to be on every other disc. Is this fade version a promo or single edit, or just an anomaly here?

The promo CD contains the full album version with a cold ending. I'm not sure where the faded version comes from. It might have been unique to that series.

Here is my promo CD single info. And Aaron is correct, the only included version ends cold:
Coolio-"Gangsta's Paradise" (MCA5P-3459)
1-(non-described version) (listed & actual 4:00)

Just wanted to pass along for database consideration that commercial CD single copies of Coolio featuring L.V.'s "Gangsta's Paradise" contains the "Album Version" and has a listed and actual run time of 4:00.
