This song used to give me nightmares when I was a kid.
If Rhino's Have A Nice Day Vol. 8 is truly :15 longer than the 45, then the 45 has just one edit in it and an early fade.
Compared to the full 4:05 album version on Time-Life's Singers And Songwriters - 1969-1972, one removes 2:39-3:29 of the album version to get the version on Have A Nice Day Vol. 8, then fades 15 seconds early. I don't have the 45 handy, so I'm not sure where the fade point really starts on the 45.
Still creeps me out, although I can sleep through the night now...

This song actually gives me pleasant dreams.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that it was the 3rd 45 I ever bought.

It was probably the 647th 45 I ever bought. I don't think this song has ever entered my dreams.

The Philips stereo 45 starts to fade at 2:47 and it's gone ten seconds later.
