I believe the video version for this is different than the "radio edit." Does anyone have details on this? Has the video version been released on CD but under a different mix name? Or maybe the "radio edit" is different in different countries.

I just heard this song and was thinking about this topic only to discover
I thought about it 4 years ago and am still awaiting an answer. A quick
web search returned no results.

The version on Forever Faithless The Greatest Hits sounds like the version in the video.

I was able to check out Forever Faithless and I do think that is the correct version. Now the question is was this previously released on a single and if so what was it named? I can't seem to find any information on this topic.

"God Is A DJ," like other Faithless singles (Insomnia,
Salva Mea, etc.) had a slew of remixes. In the US,
Arista put out double 12" packs for promo and sometimes
even commercial releases. I seem to recall that the
European releases had yet more mixes.
Interestingly, I remember the promo label called the
track "God Is A DJ (REMIX)". The "Remix" note seemed
superfluous at the time (they were all remixes), but
maybe it indicated that they were based on something
different.
Unfortunately, I can't find my copy, so I can't speak to
the individual mixes, but the good news is that there are
a lot of possibilities out there, so don't give up!
