my commercial cassingle of the elton john song "believe" issued as rocket 856014 states a run time of 4:51 but no version and runs 4:50 and is the same as the lp version except for the ending which on the full length cd tracks into the next song....i found the proper cassingle version on the import cd single issued as rocket ejsdd 36 856491-2....

There was a promo for "Believe" that had something called the "Urban Turban" remix, but it must have been quite rare, because I only ever saw one once.

Brian, it turns out that the only promo CD single of mine I can currently locate for "Believe" is that "Urban Turban Version". It is PRCD 7004-2, and features one listed (5:02), actual (5:00) track.

Believe also had the 'Hardkiss Mix", which runs 10:28.

Elton John Believe
(Hardkiss Mix)

The "Urban Turban Mix" is on Youtube, but for some reason is blocked in the
US.

It's pretty close to the original for most of the instrumentation, but it has a completely different drum track.
