Hello guys, how are you? this old topic, which Ed knew
how to open 14 years ago, to consult the following:
"Motortown" had several versions that I will describe:
- LP Version (4:47)
- US 45 Version (3:48)
- 7 Inch Mix (4:11) [cd "on top"]
- cruising version (6:44)
- German (UK?) Version (3:59)

Motortown (holland)

Motortown (germany)
I'm looking for the version released in Germany and
Holland, it's the same as the 7 inch mix version, but it
includes an edit at minute 1:16, I guess (I don't know)
that it is the same version that was released in the UK.
Does anyone have this version in flac format to share, I
would appreciate it in advance

I determined that the version on PolyTel Canada's various-artist compilation On Top (1987) is just an early fade of the LP version.
I can't confirm that this version was released anywhere except this CD.
I suspect that PolyTel Records did this early fade to match the printed time (4:19) of the "7 Inch Mix" on the 12-inch singles.
Just a hunch; I don't know what's actually on the vinyl 12 inch singles.
