The 45 is an early fade of the LP version. Just
how early is a matter of taste, I think, because
the tail of the fade extends well into the -60 dB range.
To approximate the shape of the fade well, use a 32-beat
sinusoidal fade from the downbeat at 4:07 to the downbeat
at 4:23.
On the promo CD single, the very tail of the fade seems
to extend another 14 beats to 4:30, right up to the
beginning of the long saxophone note. Not sure how long
the fade lasts on the 45.
If you're looking to get the shape of the fade
right, the 32-beat fade from 4:07 to 4:23 should work
well for you.
