Of course, the TRUE 45 version is a mono mix and is available in FLAC format on Rhino.com.

Is the stereo side of the promo single the album version or is it a stereo mix of the single. Once upon a time I had a copy but it seems to have been mis-filed or lost.

The stereo side of the DJ 45 - would that be the FALSE 45 version, then? ;) - matches the edit on the mono side.
Aside from the usual matrix numbers, the non-numerical TAKE IT EASY - S - RE deadwax inscription also follows the pattern of the mono DJ side/stock 45's TAKE IT EASY - M - RE.

Is it a dedicated mix, or is it a fold-down?

Bump... what is the edit of the 45 version of "Take It Easy"? I'm guessing they cut out some of the "ooh, ooh"'s before the ending?
Likewise, does anybody know the fade points for the single edit of "Already Gone"? These are my last two Eagles single edits that I haven't either acquired or made myself!

And yes, they cut out (from around 2:53 to 3:00 of the LP
length) the "oohs" at the end.
